Our wines

Langa’s sparkling wines

Our wine production has focused on the Metodo Classico sparkling wines since the beginning. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the grape varieties that we use, deriving from medium/high hill vineyards. Careful choice of harvest and soft pressing are our tenets. Good part of our wines carries out the first fermentation in used wood barrels, before being bottled without clarification or filtration. The long aging on the lees takes place into our historic wine cellar. Our main features are complexity and freshness.

Marcalberto Method

The Marcalberto Method symbolically represents the sum of our peculiarities and our stylistic orientation. Since the beginning the company has had a pro-French inspiration that culminated with the purchase of the “Marmonnier” Coquard press, a fundamental tool in order to preserve the soul of the fruit and extract the best part of it. The balance combination of the woods, the vinification with low content of sulphur dioxide and the “old-fashioned” sparkling winemaking methods are the essence of our work. This is for us the Marcalberto Method.
